BICAN'S Restaurant, nestled along the Davao - Bukidnon Highway in the serene Marilog District, is a hidden gem for families and travelers seeking a delightful dining experience. Customers rave about the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, especially during breakfast, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
Many reviews highlight the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Quatro notes the nice breeze and recommends trying the suman and sikwate, though diners should be aware of longer wait times for food preparation, a common theme echoed by Eva as well.
Rodolfo Jr. Parreno shares that even on a chilly day, the restaurant remains a cozy retreat offering a variety of delicious meals. Clean facilities and roadside parking add to the convenience of the visit. While Von mentions it's budget-friendly, caution is advised during rainy seasons due to pesky insects. Reviews for BICAN'S Restaurant
Review highlights
Based on 81 reviewsBICAN'S Restaurant is frequently praised for its scenic location along the Davao - Bukidnon Highway, offering guests impressive views of the surrounding mountains and a refreshing atmosphere, especially in cooler weather. The establishment is noted for its clean and presentable facilities, including roadside parking and restrooms, making it suitable for family visits and road trip stops. The menu offers a variety of meals with local specialties like suman and sikwate, often highlighted by patrons. However, common feedback points to longer waiting times for food preparation, even during less busy hours. Additionally, the outdoor setting can lead to insect presence during or after rain, which some guests find bothersome. The restaurant is appreciated for its affordability and overall value.
We stayed a night in the private house next to Bicans and the view is ultra amazing
Great view especially during breakfast. You should order food in advance otherwise you will have to wait. They have roadside parking and clean toilet.
Nice view and cool breeze. Staff is nice. Mostly has meals on their menu. Try their suman and sikwate. There is a long waiting time for them to cook and serve the food you order (even if there are only a few people). They also have a bathroom.
I really like the area at the back. Meron view sa surrounding mountains. We had our lunch. It was past 12 noon but the athmosphere is cold that have to get our jackets! First time for my family to have a meal there. The food is great. They have plenty listed. The place is clean & presentable if you have a special guest along with you on your "road trip".
The best for its price! one of the budget friendly restaurants in buda Don’t go here if mag ulan or after ulan or you’ll be swarmed with flying insects na distorbohon mo daghan kaayo
BICAN’S Cafe in Marilog offers a stunning view of the mountains paired with a refreshing cold breeze. Make sure to bring your jacket when dining here. The staff are friendly, the food is good, and the toilets are clean. Parking is also available. We are happy to be here! You must order the chicken lomi, egg sandwich, ngoyong, and their native drip coffee! The food is affordable too! PS. Dining tables are stunning!
I love visiting Buda and I always drop by here for a quick lunch. I usually order their soup-based dishes. They are good for the first 10 minutes so you should consume them fast before they turn cold because of the cool breeze of Marilog district. A good place for an enjoyable meal with friends while enjoying the fresh and cool environment.
Nice view either in front (national highway) or at the back (mountain view). Enjoyed my sikwate with suman for only P100
